Operations Coordinator

Nupacko creates an all-in-one, nutrient-dense biscuit that will combat food insecurity by supplementing six major nutrient deficiencies in our country. The biscuits are tasty “nutrient packs to go'' designed and baked by the team to help you grow.

As the Operations Coordinator for Nupacko, you will fulfill core tasks such as the day-to-day production in Nupacko’s kitchen, nutrient research, prototyping, maintaining inventory, and coordinating with service providers for efficient operations. You will utilize your skills to bake our recipe, track our progress, and research innovative nutrient dense cookie offerings and products for the project.

  • Be able to work independently and proactively to complete tasks and responsibilities

  • Be excited to start and complete projects promptly and with enthusiasm

  • Be attentive to detail

  • Have a safety oriented, curious and innovative mindset

  • Have an interest in learning more about nutrients and health, showcasing a curiosity for baking and recipe development

  • Be excellent at communication


It would be great if you:

  • Have experience working with kitchen equipment (eg. stand mixer, ovens, scales, etc.)

  • Enjoy multi-tasking and are able to coordinate many moving parts well

  • Have experience with baking

  • Are a fast-learner!

  • Have strong interpersonal skills

  • Experienced with Tracking Apps (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets..)

You will be working on things like…

  • Fulfilling our current production requirements by baking our cookies

  • Collaborate in kitchen operations, including baking cookies and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards

  • Ensure smooth operations of the kitchen when in use including logistics of production

  • Maintain and track inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients

  • Coordinate with renters and service providers for kitchen-related needs.

  • Researching and developing recipe enhancements and operational process troubleshooting

  • Managing our inventory - accurately recording our ingredients and handling necessary product disposal
