Innovation Officer
The Innovation Officer will be a key member of our team, responsible for driving innovation and new product development initiatives. They will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating new project opportunities, conducting market research, engaging with potential customers and suppliers, designing prototypes, and ultimately bringing market-viable products to fruition. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and market needs.
Below is a brief overview of each project our Enactus team is currently working on, highlighting the innovative and impactful initiatives we are driving forward:
Eco Kelp Project: This innovative project focuses on combating ocean pollution and acidification by developing modular kelp farms. The kelp helps to increase the pH of acidic waters and absorb excess nutrients, offering a sustainable solution to agricultural runoff and other environmental challenges.
Post Echo: A social impact initiative aimed at providing homeless individuals with a stable mailing address. By offering this essential service, Post Echo helps to restore dignity and access to critical services like healthcare, job opportunities, and social support systems.
Revive Paper Company: A sustainability-driven enterprise dedicated to revolutionizing the paper industry. This project explores the use of textiles and organic materials in the paper-making process, reducing reliance on traditional wood pulp and promoting eco-friendly practices.
Rescue Buddy: An autonomized search and rescue project that focuses on developing a remote-controlled boat equipped with sonar technology. The Rescue Buddy is designed to assist in victim recovery during drowning incidents, enhancing the efficiency and safety of rescue operations.
